At the end of June 2025, the prestigious CRU Wire & Cable Summitwhich was attended by more than 150 delegates from 89 companies and 24 countries. The event was kicked off with a major event – a visit to our manufacturing plant Maschinenfabrik NIEHOFF in Nymburk.

The conference participants had the opportunity to see our 30,000 m² facility, where cutting-edge machines for the wire and cable industry are built. The plant visit was accompanied by a guided tour and demonstration of our production processes.

After the excursion, we also prepared a social evening on a boat in the centre of Prague, which created an ideal space for informal networking before the main part of the conference.

The Summit itself was dedicated to topical issues such as the growing demand for cables in the context of the energy transition, the emergence of new technologies, sustainability issues and the shortage of skilled labour.

We are proud that our plant in Nymburk could be part of such an important international meeting and that we could present our work to colleagues from all over the world.
